6:00-Its breakfast time and we have to prepare for the game so i will be eating eggs and oatmeal w/fruit and a bottle of water. The reason why im eating this meal is because there is high carb oatmeal with the fruit and protein/fat from the eggs, this will give me long term and short term energy. Now we are off to school.
9:00-Im i school and now its time to have a high carb snack which is a nature valley oats bars with honey and water. The reason why i'm eating this is because this is mainly a quick carb snack from my game to give me energy. Carbs are important to have all throughout the day as long as you burn it off later, now off to lunch.
11:30- Its lunch time and in my lunch today i have a roast beef sandwich, orange and a bag of chips with a bottle of water.The reason why im having this is because i get protein and fat from the roast beef sandwich, orange and chips are for the good carbohydrates fro my gave to supply my body with energy.
3:30- My game is 30 minutes and it is time to hydrate with some gatorade and water with a little bit of fruit. The reason why im drinking water and gatorade with little food is because i need to hydrate and food will slow down me during my game because of the digestion process which is the reason why im eating fruit.
4:00- Its game time and all i need during the game is some water to keep me hydrated. You need to stay hydrated during your game to get the best results and dont eat food that will slow you down so maybe some gatorade for the electrolytes for the energy, but no food.
6:30- WOW that game was great and now i can eat a big recovery meal which is chicken, fries, salad and a coke. It is important to have a recovery meal because your body burned fat and calories throughtout the day which is why im having fat and protein in the chichken and fat in the fries, with a nice healthy salad and a coke because i feel like it.
