  • Children, today we will learn about Changes We See Around Us. There are two types of changes:-Reversible changes and Irreversible changes.
  • Changes We See Around Us!
  • Changes Around Us!
  • Changes which can be reversed to form the original substance are called reversible changes.
  • For example: If ice melts it becomes water. But if we cool this water, we get ice back.
  • REVERSIBLE CHANGE
  • For example: Hot milk can be cooled to give cold milk. Cold milk can then be heated to give hot milk.
  • HOT MILK
  • REVERSIBLE CHANGE
  • COLD MILK
  • Changes in which the matter cannot be brought back to its original state are known as irreversible changes.
  • For example: If you blow a balloon and pop it with something sharp, it will burst. You cannot blow this balloon again.
  • POP!
  • IRREVERSIBLE CHANGE
  • For example: If you cut a piece of paper with a pair of scissors, you cannot get the paper back.
