Stable food supply. Back in Paleolithic times they didn't have a stable food supply. Hunting was dangerous for the people, they were often injured or killed. Food was scarce.
We have learned to grow crops. We realized doing this helps us have a stable food supply. We used to be hunter gatherers.
Shelters. These people were nomadic so they didn't live here permanently. They live where there is a chance to hunt.
This house keeps harsh weather and animals away!
Trading. Trading wasn't really important back in paleolithic days but it was still there. These people were mostly concerned with plants and animals for resources.

Shelters. Having permanent homes was important because they gave people protection from harsh weather and animals. Permanent homes made life more comfortable, and people could cook in new ways. Permanent homes made bigger communities.
