  • Jefferson Davis was born in a Christian Country, Kentucky, on June 3rd, 1808. After his military career, He served as the U.S senator and as secretary of war. Hw was later accused of Treason, though never tired for the trail, he remained a symbol for the Southern pride until his death in 1889.  
  • Ulysses S. Grant
  • Abraham Lincoln born February 12, 1809, in Hodgenville, Kentucky. He was the 16th president of the U.S., the leader who successfully prosecuted the Civil war. He was a major part of the Thirteenth Amendment, which ended slavery in America. Lincoln was the first president to be assassinated, on April 14, 1865.

  • Robert E. Lee was born on January 19, 1807. Confederate general Robert E. Lee was the most iconic, respected commander of all during the Civil War. He resigned from the U.S. army to join forces of his native state. commander of the Confederate States Army. He commanded the Army of Northern Virginia in the American civil war from 1862 until his surrender in1865. 
  • Philip Bazaar
  • Ulysses Grant was born on April 27, 1822. He served as the 18th president of the U.S. from 1869-1877. During the Civil war, he led a union army as its commanding general to victory over confederacy with president Abraham Lincoln. 
  • William Carney was born on February 29, 1840, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was an African American soldier during the Civil War. He was granted freedom and moved to Massasschettets. He was the first African American rewarded the Medal of Hornor for his actions on July 18, 1863, while a member of the 54th Massachusetts during the civil war. He soon died December 19, 1908. 
  • Philip Bazaar was born in Santiago, Chile. He was one of the United States seamen who has rewarded the medal of honor the highest military decoration of the U.S. for valor in combat.   he was 1 of 6 men who entered the fort in the assault fleet.
