After British won the French and Indian War (Seven Year War) they gained some land in North America. That lead to the Royal Proclamation Acts.
The Boston Massacre of 1770

The British actually started the stamp act on March 22, 1765. They taxed every paper material and imposed a direct tax on the thirteen colonies. Also, the printed materials that colonies used had to be on stamped paper. That made the colonist hate British even more.
The Tea Act and the Boston Tea Party of 1773

The Townshend Acts were a series a acts that passed during 1767 and 1768. The laws were that they were going to charge for paper, paint, lead, glass and tea that was sent to the American colonies. Colonist wanted their freedom back so they started doing boycotts and protests to get what they wanted.
The Intolerable Acts of 1774

The colonist from out side the custom house started harassing and throwing things at the solders: that when the mini war started that evening of March 5, 1770. The British solders were defending themselves so they fought back.
The Tea Acts were when Britain had tea sales in the American colonies. Since tea was the British favorite drink everyone one would buy it. The Boston Tea Party was a protest by the Sons of Liberty. The Sons Liberty dressed up as Indians and threw Boston's tea into Bostons harbor. Colonist wanted to rule with violence against their own government. So, they threw the tea into the harbor.

The Intolerable Acts of 1774 were laws passed by the British. This laws permitted British soldiers to go into you home and eat your food and do what they wanted. They would knock on your door and if you said yes they would come in an if you said no they would kick you out of your own home and they would live there. Colonist did not like King Charles 111 laws so they waned their own freedom and by that they started has conflict.
