  • Deforestation is the result of clearing a wide area of trees.
  • A common method for deforestation is burning the trees down.
  • A short term effects of deforestation on humans is that when you cut down a tree you will lose out on cleaner air.  Even if you were to plant a tree right away, it would take a few years for it to grow back.
  • Some effects that it has on humans is that some trees takes in greenhouse gasses that fuel global warming. Without those trees it could help cause global warming.  This is a long term effect.
  • A long term effect for deforestation is loss of species.  Sometimes when you lose a species it can take a long time for it to grow again or it might never grow again.  If a specie if alone in the forest how will it find the same specie before it dies or gets killed.  That is a long term effect because it can take a long time for a species to grow back once it has been almost extinct.
  • Some effects that deforestation has on the environment is that there is 80% of the earth's land animals and plants live in forests.  Many can't survive the deforestation that will destroy their homes.  That was a short term effect.
  • As you can see with this deforestation it will effect many humans and creatures. Thank you for reading this very important message about deforestation because it is importnat
