  • Brutus' Hamartia is need to do anything to protect the country. He even killed his good friend because he believed that was what was best for Rome.
  • Nemesis
  • Brutus was so convinced that him killing Caesar would have no consequences and was surprised when Antony was able to turn the crowd against him.
  • Pathos
  • Brutus and the others must prepare for battle when the Romans turn against the conspirators.
  • Catharsis
  • Brutus and Antony will go to war after Caesar's death. After his encounter with Caesar's ghost, this is foreshadowed.
  • Antony faces sadness over Caesar's death
  • Brutus is found dead and everyone gathers around him for his funeral. They find it sad that such an honorable man, who had good intentions was found dead.
