Storyboard Text

  • Mr. Leonard Mead would stand upon the corner of intersections peering down the 4 paths deciding where to go, but it really made no difference; he was alone in this world of A.D. 2053, or as good as alone......
  • "Hello, in there." "What's up tonight on Channel 4, Channel 7, Channel 9? Where are the cowboys rushing, and do I see the United States Cavalry over the next hill to the rescue?"
  • This particular evening was a very cold November evening. There were many colorful Autumn leaves on the ground that Mr. Mead loved dearly. The air, cut the nose and made the lungs blaze like a Christmas tree inside.
  • If he stood very still, frozen on the street, he could imagine himself in the center of a plain, a wintry, windless Arizona desert with no house in a thousand miles, and only dry river beds, and the streets, for company.
  • "But-"
  • Put up your hands!!
  • "Stand still. Stay where you are! Don't move!"
  • Police
  • NO!!
  • "Walking for air. Walking to see."
  • I protest!!
  • Get in!!
  • Why are you walking??
  • Police
  • Can't you see from your house??
  • Official Chicago Police Portable Jail Cell
  • To the Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies.
  • Where are we going?!
  • Official Chicago Police Portable Jail Cell
  • That's my house!!
