Storyboard Text

  • BEOWULF The Last Battle
  • Beowulf courageously journeys past the rocky cliffs as he makes his way toward the dragon's tower
  • He then fights the fire-breathing dragon with his sword
  • His sword breaks, his shield melts, and his body is burnt and torn when he stabs the dragon
  • How can I defeat this powerful dragon without my weapons?
  • All of the Geats desert him except for Wiglaf
  • Take what I leave, Wiglaf, lead my people, Help them; my time is gone. Have the brave Geats build me a tomb.
  • Those warriors should not have deserted you when you needed them the most.
