After speaking to the little girl the wolf gave her directions to take a shorter path. Once she left, the wolf then took the actual shortcut to pretend to be the grandmother.
Little did Little Red know that while she was strolling the wolf was already at her grandmothers house and had hid her in the closet and dressed as she did, waiting for little red to arrive.
When Little Red arrived she saw her grandmother a little differently. "Grandmother What big ears you have," said Little Red. "Better to hear you with, my dear," replied the wolf."But Grandmother! What big eyes you have," said Little Red Riding Hood."The better to see you with, my dear," replied the wolf.
"But Grandmother! What big teeth you have," said Little Red Riding Hood her voice quivering slightly. "The better to eat you with, my dear," roared the wolf and he leapt out of the bed and began to chase the little girl. little Red ran, shouting for help when a woodsman passed by and helped her chase away the wolf. together they helped free her grandmother from the closet and always stayed away from the woods.
