I am in outer space, I can freely float around because I am in a constant free fall towards earth.
The planets in our Solar system are able to stay in orbit because of the magnetic pull of gravity from the sun. If there was no gravity the planets would move freely through out or solar system.
I am able to run on the court because of my shoes, they have certain grooves that make friction. Because of that I can't slip This is a contact force, and also there is sliding friction with the shoes.
Magnetism- There are fields that come off of the sun called magnetic fields. Scientist don't know which layer of the sun the magnetism comes from. All they know is that it keeps the planets in orbit...this is non contact force.
This balloon is very elastic. When the balloon reaches its elastic limit it will break, but as long as you don't break it, it will go back to its original form.
In this scene their is a volley ball net in the middle of the stream...But there is friction between the metal pooles and the dirt + water. The weight from the poles and the stickiness of the bud make it a contact force...Fluid friction.
