Storyboard Text

  •  The sperm start in the testicle.
  •   The tails push the sperm into a tube behind the testes called the Epididymis.
  • The sperm are travelling through the Epididymis for about 5 weeks. Once out, the move into the Vas Deferens.
  •  When a man is aroused, the sperm are mixed with seminal liquid produced by the seminal vesicles and the prostate gland to form semen.
  • The semen, which contains up to 500 million sperm, ejaculated through the urethra, and the sperm swim upwards through the woman's reproductive tract toward the Fallopian tubes.
  •  Very few sperm even get close to the egg, but when one does it penetrates the surface, fertilising the egg. And there you have it.
