i was born on the 27th of August 1908 in Cootamundra. I was the youngest kids of Emily and George Bradman. had four siblings three girls and one boy.
in 1917 i was 19 and travelled to Adelaide for my first Cricket game against South Australia. Then out of no where i was at 118 runs not out! Now i'm know as the boy from Bowral.
Next thing I've beaten the record for the most runs! i got 452 not out in 415mins

i was an idol to look up at in the sporting career, in the depression and the World War. I did however accept the Australian captaincy in 1946 to help a post-war recovery.
