Because of suspected regicide, Duncan's sons, Malcolm and Donald, they flee from Scotland. Malcolm goes to England and Donald goes to Ireland. As of this, Macbeth is pronounced king.
Macbeth orders two henchmen to kill Banquo and his son, Fleance as he is scared Banquo will realise the truth and so his son doesn't become king. Banquo is killed but Fleance gets away.
Macbeth holds a feast but during the feast, he sees Banquo's ghost siting on an empty chair. He begins to go insane and Lady Macbeth sends everyone out. Macduff senses something is wrong and flees to England.
Macbeth returns to the witches, where they tell him he should beware Macduff, he will not be killed until Birnham wood comes to Dunsinane and he cannot bekilled from any man who is born of woman. He is now feeling much happier so then he kills Macduffs family due to Macduff being a traitor.
Malcolm, son of the old King of Scotland, and Macduff plan to attack the castle. Meanwhile, in the castle Macbeth says he will carry on fighting and Lady Macbeth jumps to her death as she has gone insane.
The England army chop down the trees of Birnham and carry them to the castle so they cannot be seen. They invade Macbeth's castle and Macbeth says he cannot be killed of any woman-born man but Macduff is born cesarean. He slaughters Macbeth and Malcolm is now the new king.
