  • In the Elizabethan Age, women could have jobs but did not pay as much as men. Women usually didn't have jobs, mostly the men. Women mostly cared for the children, and the house work. The men usually worked outside the house. Nowadays, women can have the same job as a man and get paid the same.
  • Women did not have a lot of power in the Elizabethan Age. They could vote for political reasons but that's about it. Woman were restricted from some jobs including teaching. Only the men could teach. Men were always viewed higher than women. Now, women are viewed the same as men, can teach, and have the same rights as men.
  • Men and women are respected equally in the society. Even though men are viewed higher they are both respected the same. There are some women though that have more power than men and they are queens. Now, women are still respected equally, they are viewed the same, but queens and kings are still viewed higher than average citizens.
