Victor, Konrad, and Elizabeth find a hidden library containing alchemy tomes within the Frankenstein chateau. Their father catches them in the library and makes them promise to never return, they agree.
Almost, it'll take an extra 2 days for it to settle.
Konrad will be dead by 2 days!
Is the elixir done?
Konrad becomes deathly ill, and doctors aren't finding any success. So Victor finds himself back in the library in search of a way to cure Konrad. He spots a burnt book in a language he can't understand. He also is told of a man named Julius Polidori who can create an elixir of life, so Victor, Elizabeth, and their friend Henry set off to find Polidori.
We have the elixir, let's go!
Victor, Elizabeth, and Henry find an old wheelchair-bound man who happens to be Julius Polidori. Once Polidori caught sight of the burned book Victor had taken from the library he agrees to help them. He tells them to make the elixer, they needed only 3 rare ingredients: a glowing Lichen, an extinct fish's head, and bone marrow.
He looks better already.
I hope this works.
They climb a tree and get the lichen, they go spelunking underground and catch the fish, and Victor severs his pinky and ring finger from his left hand for bone marrow. With the ingredients, Polidori creates the elixir and tells them to come back in 2 days because the elixir needs time to settle, Henry who had read the - now translated burned book realizes that he's lying and tells Victor.
Polidori, who wanted his legs to work again attempts to lock the three in the basement they were in. Victor and Henry know what Polidori is trying to do, so there's a struggle. Victor, Henry, and Elizabeth are victorious as they lock Polidori in his basement and rush back to Konrad to give him the elixir, but not before dealing with Polidori's pet lynx.
But what about Krake?!
Konrad is fed the elixir in his sleep, the next day he is cured and feeling better, Victor explains the adventure to their parents who then send out the law to find Polidori. They found his house burned down without him inside. That night Konrad dies of unknown causes. He is stored in an ice chamber with the rest of the Frankenstein ancestors to preserve his body.
