The colonists learned that the British were going to tax tea. This made the colonists mad and the men wanted to do something. Samuel Adams recorded the number of men at the meeting.
The colonists decided to dress as Mohawk Indians. They also decided that they needed to recruit more people to do this. They said that they needed to make sure that nobody took tea. To do this they created a pat down line.
They dressed as Native Americans. They started on their journey to recruit colonists. When they finally did so they went on their way to throw tea in the Boston harbor.
