  • Long ago, there was a man named Daedalus. Daedalus was an inventor. He had invented a big maze called a labyrinth for King Minos. Inside the labyrinth was a ravenous Minotaur.
  • I am a Minotaur. Roar.
  • A man named Theseus went into the Labyrinth, killed the Minotaur, and sailed away with King Mino's daughter, Ariadne.
  • Take that, evil beast!
  • OW!! Y U DO THAT!?!?
  • King Minos was furious, so he locked Daedalus and his son, Icarus, in a big tower.
  • Well, this stinks.
  • Daedalus formed an escape planto make wings out of wax and feathers, He made 2 pairs, one for him and one for Icarus.
  • Wings
  • Okay son, put these wings on, but don't fly too close to the sun, or the wax will melt.
  • Ok, Father.
  • Uh oh.
  • Alas, Icarus flew too close to the sun, his wax wings melted, and he fell to his death.
