Eteocles and Polyneieces is killed each other during the battle in Thebes. Eteocles has been buried, but Polyneices' body still lays in the battle feild.
Antigone wants to bury Polyneices bacause they're family. Ismene doesn't because it is against the written law. She fears for her life.
The chorus explains that polyneices is the real enemy and traitor. He fought with the Argives. He killed his brother. Eteocles deserves to be buried, Polyneices doesn't.
