  • I am Beowulf.......
  • Beowulf is a well known warrior who is well known through out many different kingdoms making him a Figure of Great National Importance 
  • Action Consists of Valor and Courage 
  • Beowulf was not only able to swim in that monster infested water he was also able to stay under water of a very long time
  • Setting is Vast
  • This is when Beowulf came and gave his intro speech in front of Hrothgar and all the Danes in the mead hall about how he could fight and beat Grendal.
  • Writing style is elevated or ceremonial 
  • Beowulf showed an Action of Courage of Valor and Courage when he killed Grendel without any war gear.
  • Grendel’s mother’s underwater cave is an example of a vast setting in the open Beowulf 
  • In the prologue of the poem was a funeral for a king named shild and the writing style they used was very touching and showed the respect they had for their leader
