Storyboard Text

  • Macbeth- Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis, King of Scotland. Banquo, your son will be King but not you.
  • When Macbeth and Banquo are returning from battle, they encounter 3 witches who speak 3 prophecies.
  • interestingly, later in the day, one of them comes true and Macbeth is crowned Thane of Cawdor.
  • Weirdos. I'm only one of those.
  • ???
  • Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to kill King Duncan at tonight's banquet and blame it on the guards so he will be king. She does it by convincing him that everyone things he's a coward.
  • Kill Duncan and become King! Unless you're a coward....
  • Duncan will not see tomorrow
  • He sees a floating dagger towards Duncan's room and sees it as a sign. He forgets to put the bloody knives by the guards so LM does it.
  • After having doubts about killing Duncan as he's only doing it for ambition, Lady Macbeth pushes him on (by calling him cowardly)
  • They have a celeberatory feast as Macbeth is now King. Macbeth sees Banquo and his son as a threat due to his lust for power and has them assassinated, but his son escaped
  • Macbeth is angry and has the murderes killed. He sees Banquo's ghost and goes a bit bonkers, and Lady Macbeth says he's just ill and ends the party
  • Macbeth makes a return to the witches, and they showed him a glance into his future. The witches said 3 things...
  • Beware Macduff, Thane of Fife! No man born of a woman will harm you! You will rule until Birnam woods walks to Dunsinane Hill.
  • Macbeth cries "I'm invincible!" but then kills Macduff's family as he sees them as a threat. Macduff and Malcom (his son) hear about this from England and lead an army against Macbeth.
  • After a messenger delivers that Birnam eoods has walked to Duninsale Hill, Macbeth peers out the window to see the army of Macduff and Malcom.
  • Feeling invincible, he kills the whole army as no man born of a woman can harm him. However, Macduff was cut from his mother's stomach, and so he chops Macbeth's head off clean and Malcom is rightfully king.
