All foreign jews were expelled from Sighet and crammed in to train cars by Hungarian Police (Moishe was sent away). But one day Elie saw Moishe in the Synagogue, but he was not the cheerful man he once was, his eyes had no more happiness in them. "Jews, listen to me! That's all I ask of you. No money. No pity. Just listen to me!" Moishe begged. He had tried warning the people of Sighet but they did not listen...
