Since its creation in 1959, Sea World has been tied to many suspicious and odd deaths. A lot of these were the tragic deaths of their trainers and their killer whales.
Harsh Conditions for Whales and Trainers
Killer whales are captured in harsh ways. They are sometimes taken from their mothers, and if a whale dies while it is being captured, they will dispose of the body.
The Whales never get to Experience the Ocean
Dawn Brancheu was a Sea World trainer and she was killed by Tilikum the killer whale in 2010. It was most likely because he was agitated. Tilikum continued to work at Sea World until his death in 2016.
The Whales are Put Under Harsh Conditions with other Whales
Sea World has faced a lot of hate because they put their whales and trainers in danger. The whales are kept in small pools that may cause boredom and the trainers are at risk of being hurt by the whales because of them being in the pools with the whales.
The whales that are currently at Sea World were bred in captivity and will never get to experience the ocean and this can be bad because if they do one day get set free then they won't know how to survive on their own.
Whales tend to be aggressive with other whales and if the whales are put together they can attack one another and this causes whales to become weaker and they can even die if the whale is bigger than them.
