  • Dywysoges Dywnwyn fell in caru with a young man named Maelon...the problem was that she was already engaged.
  • Dywysoges Dywnyn knew this was wrong so she told her cariad they could not be. Maelon ddim yn gwrando.
  • So Dywnwyn prayed to God to ask for help. Then in a dream, an angel came to dywysoges Dwynwyn.
  • The angel froze her cariad, Maelon, Dynwyn was drist since she was still mewn cariad with Maelon. So she prayed to God to unfreeze Maelon.
  • God fufilled her wish and Maelon was thawed. Dynwyn vowed to byth yn priodi
  • Dwynwen became the patron saint of lovers and God gave her the power to grant dymuniadau of cariadon.
