Storyboard Text

  • Of course! What's the question?
  • Hey, I'm having trouble with my calculus homework. Could you help me?
  • I have to find the limit as x approaches negative infinity for (8x-3)/(5x^2-6x+3). There are so many numbers!
  • Hmm...
  • Oh, I remember! Since the exponent on the leading coefficient is bigger on the bottom than the top, the denominator will grow faster than the numerator.
  • What does that mean?
  • It means the limit for the function as x approaches negative infinity is just zero!
  • Awesome, thank you! Do you think you could help me with physics too?
  • I don't know a thing about physics, sorry.
  • That's okay! I'll just go ask the neighbors.
  • We don't speak to the neighbors! Their plantation is too frail. It must be avoided.
  • O-okay... I'll just go inside, geez.
