  • Most teens have a hard time gaining work experience when applying to entry-level jobs. Our solution to help them stand out is a training program.
  • This training program will first educate attendees in resume building and job application basics during the first week.
  • In following 3 weeks of the course, attendees will choose one of the four career programs: 1. Retail Industry 2. Food Industry 3.  Administrative  4. Childcare 
  • After week 1, the career program training will be held in places of business.
  • On the Agenda for Week 1: 1. Resume Building 2.  Job application basics
  • Make sure to keep a smile on your face when greeting customers
  • During training in the place of business, the designated employee will be with the student at all times during the second week to give guidance
  • Food Industry Positions: - waiter/waitress -barista - fast food worker
  • Can I help you with your order today?
  • During the third week of training, the employee will intervene only when necessary and answer questions in the workplace
  • Let me recommend the perfect pair of shoes to go with your dress!
  • Retail Industry Positions: - sales associate
  • Childcare Positions: - Nanny - Camp Counselor
  • Let's get the others and head over to the park!
  • In the fourth week, students will be placed in a new business setting where they will be briefly trained just as a newly hired worker would be.
  • Administrative Positions: - Bank Teller - Receptionist
  • We have an appointment opening for Friday the 5th at 10:00 am.
  • During the last two days of this fourth and final week, both the employee and the hiring manager will observe the student for evaluation.
