  • In 1776 there was a revolution in British America. it happened because the British started enforcing all these laws and restrictions because they needed money.

  • The colonist were already not happy with Britain because they kept taxing them. They were taxing even more and weren't given a part to decide what happens with them.

  • In march 1765 the British force the colonists to use a special paper. You have to use this any special paper for anything legal like will's marriage licenses, and other things.

  • The colonist were very mad about not having representation so they made the saying no taxation without representation. They were trying to form the congress so England would hopefully give them representation.
