Daniel Morgan was born July 6th 1736, Hunterdon County,New Jersey.
Daniel Morgan made money as a plantation owner before the American Revolution and after the revolution he became a politician.
He was a riflemen picking off indian guides, officers, and generals.
Daniel Morgan is being promoted here but Congress tells him that they have enough generals, Daniel retires but rejoins the army later and wins another battle (Cowpens)that is more impressive than Saratoga.
After the Revolutoin Daniel Morgan came back to Winchester, Virginia and died there on July 6th, 1802.
He fought for what was right or fought for what he thought was right and that is very honorable at least to us.
