The serpent is trying to trick the women into eating from the tree which God told them not to eat from
“Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
The women is now telling the serpent that God forbid them from eating from the tree in the middle of the garden
“We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, or you will die.’”
The serpent has tricked the women and now she is extremely confused
“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
The serpent has convinced the women to eat from the tree which god forbid them to eat from and the man also eats from the same tree
“The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
God walks into the garden and asks if they ate from the tree. The man and women hide from God because they realize they are naked and they are ashamed. But the man replies by blaming the women who blames the serpent
"Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
“The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
The women and Adam were punished for what they did god made the women endure pain while childbearing and Adam must tend to the ground and God cursed the serpent to crawl on his stomach and banned them from the garden of eden and put a burning sword on the entrance of the garden to protect it from outsiders
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children"
“Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
