  • Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers
  • YOU ARE SO AWESOME...

  • Hyperbole
  • Im so hungry I could eat a horse!
  • Don't even think about it...
  • Alliteration is the repeated sound at the beginning of nearly every word in a sentence. ( Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers )
  • Personification
  • An onomatopeia is a word that acts out an action. For example, BAM! or, KAPPOW!
  • Simile
  • I am as hungry as a cow!
  • A Hyperbole is an intentional exaggeration. Like if you say, "I am so hungry that I could eat an entire Horse!"
  • Metaphor
  • This snow is a white blanket!
  • Personification is when you give a non living object certain human characteristics.  Like in some movies when there is a toy talking or using dialogue.

  • Bye Felicia...
  • A simile is when you make a comparison between two things, using the words like or as. ( I am as hungry as a cow! )
  • Shut up and give me some food, you human!
  • A metaphor is when you make a direct comparison but NOT using the words like or as. ( The snow is a white blanket )
