I am a hero. A hero is someone who does things for the greater good, helps other people, and has many great achievements.
Odysseus the Master Mariner and Soldier
I am the reason we defeated Troy! With my master plan, we infiltrated the Walls of Troy and killed the soldiers that kept us waiting outside the walls for 10 years! I told some men to sail home in the boats to make them think we left. Then, we built a giant horse as a "gift" for their "victory" and put men in it. While they were sleeping, the men hopped out and killed them! This makes me a hero because this shows my smarts and dedication.
I am a hero for saving those men. They became addicted to this lotus so I immediately told the rest of my men to not touch any lotus and to get back on the ship. Instead of taking the easy way and leaving the three addicted men behind, I dragged them to the boat and tied them down to make sure they get home. I did this because I care about my men.
No! Please let us stay! We need more lotus!
I am a hero for saving my men once again. They were tricked by Circe and were all turned into swines! She tried tricking me too but I had the moly that made sure I wouldn't get transformed. I gave Circe what she wanted and got her to change my men back into humans, and they even got a great makeover! I care about my men, that's why I rushed to save them as soon as I heard and did whatever it took to save them.
Change my men back!
Although throughout our journey I think I was mostly a hero, I did mess up a few times. For example, I should not have gone to the Cyclops's land in the first place. I didn't listen to my men when they told me we should leave and we got trapped in the Cyclops's cave. I lost 6 good men there in that cave. And when we finally escaped, I shouted at the Cyclops my name and he put a curse on our voyage. Other than those mistakes, I did put my men first and got most of them out. Overall I think I was a hero on this journey.
