  • We would like you to give your speech at a meeting with all of the town leaders.
  • The family gathers around the grandfather's death bed, and he divulges the secrets that he has lived with his whole life. He calls himself a traitor and a spy. He encourages his family to keep up the good fight. The boy was astonished because he always thought that he and his grandfather were alike.
  • Rising Action (cont'd.)
  • The Grandson delivers his valedictorian speech. The focus on the speech is equality, freedom, and prosperity.
  • Climax
  • After the boy delivers his speech, the school superintendent invites him to deliver his speech in front of more people in power. He tells the boy that the event will be held in the main ballroom of the leading hotel.
  • Climax (cont'd.)
  • I got $50 on the one in gray!
  • Get Him!!
  • You can do better than that!
  • Upon arriving at the hotel, the boy learns that he is to take part in a battle royal, and is upset that he is forced to use the servant's elevator, because he thinks he is better than the other boys.
  • When the boys arrive at the event, the see a woman on stage without a stitch of clothing on. The boy immediately becomes embarrassed, and ashamed on the woman's behalf.
  • As the battle commenced, the boys slowly started falling, one-by-one. The men shouted out bets and jeers. And as the last punch flew, the boy fell, and a victor arose.
