  • King Louis XVl was a very unprepared king. He quickly followed his wife's answers to all problems and completely ignored the people of France.
  • Do You hear peseants?
  • Don't mind them they are just jealous.
  • When the Estate General was called, it was supposed to find a solution to the problem plaguing the deficit, not the pain of the people. As a result the nobility and clergy refused to give extra rights to the third estate by having 1 vote per estate.
  • 1 vote per estate
  • Yes, only 1 vote
  • 1 vote each person!
  • Largely due to a series of bad harvests, bread prices rose gigantically leading to the many riots in France.
  • We have no food!
  • The fields are flooded!
  • We're starving!
  • Upon hearing of French armies moving in on french, peasants and citizens of Paris stormed the Bastille for weapons and gunpowder officially marking this as the beginning of the revolution.
  • Afraid for his own safety, Louis and his family attempted to flee France. Sadly for him, he was caught causing him to be recognized as a traitor by all of France.
  • Itś the King!
  • Oh dear
  • Heś trying to escape!
  • Arrest him!
  • for his treason of escaping France, Louis was put to death. After what was thought the end of the Revolution, it was still not over. The End
  • Nobody listens.
  • And for you crimes, you are hereby sentenced to death by guillotine.
