Shrouded in Myth Comic Strip
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hello. My name is Danae. You may be wondering why I am grieving. Well, my father hid me from the world so I wouldn't have children. You see, the oracle told Acrisios, my father, that his grandson will kill him. So, he hid me in this nasty dungeon.
Later, when Father left, Zeus came to me in the form of golden rain. We fell in love, and had a baby. He was born in 9 months, and I named him Perseus.
Father was very angry. He threw Perseus and me into a chest and out to the sea. We landed in King Polydectes's land.
Perseus grew up to be a brave little boy. He made my heart jump with joy. In fact, he slayed the evil gorgon Medusa!
Later, after many more successes, Perseus decided to visit his Grandfather. That coward fled his own country to avoid my dearest son!
Eventually, my athletic son entered a discus contest. However, Perseus was so strong, that he inadvertently killed Acrisios in the crowd. He felt so guilty! So, he went to the legendary Mycenae.
