  • Goodmorning class! Today we are going to be learning about the process of the Cell Cycle!
  • The next step is Phrophase. The nuclear slowly disappears, the chromosomes condense, and the spindle fibers form.
  • This step is called Prophase.
  • This is the third phase, Metaphase. Here, the chromosomes line up.
  • The spindle fibers are attaching to the centromere
  • That's right Josh!
  • An easy way to remember the cell process is I PMAT C I play music at the concert!
  • The fourth step is called Anaphase, the chromatids of each chromosome separate and are pulled to opposite sides.
  • The cell membrane begins to pinch.
  • This stage is called Telophase. A nuclear membrane is forming around each chromosome.
  • That's the end of the cell cycle!!
