Storyboard Text

  • it is impossible to say how first the idea entered my brain, but once conceived it haunted me  day and night. I loved the old man, it was his eye! Yes his eye that represented a vultures! I made up my mind to take the old mans life to rid myself of his evil eye
  • Exposition
  • Every night for seven nights, about midnight, i turned the latch of his door, and shone a light upon his room. I found his eye closed, so it was impossible to do the work.
  • Rising Action
  • On the eighth night, i was not too cautious in opening the door, and made a noise, which woke the old man, and he shrieked i was worried someone heard. I shone the light and his eye was open! In an instant anger took me over. I dragged him onto the floor, and pulled the mattress on him to suffocate him. He was stone dead!
  • Rising Action
  • I began to dissemble his corpse. I started with the head, and so on. I then took up three planks from the bedroom floor, and deposited it all between the scantlings. I did it so cunningly no human eye could detect such a thing. There was no blood stain, no i was too clever for it, a tub had caught it all!
  • Climax
  • Oh, it was just me in my sleep, i had a terrible nightmare, i woke up screaming.
  • Someone said they heard a shriek, were required to search the premises
  • Falling Action
  • The man invited the police in. He acts innocent until he starts to hear the mans beating heart. He believes the police know because theyre laughing. He confesses that hes done the crime, and rips apart the scantlings.
  • Resolution
  • I DID IT!!!!
