  • Some word there was, worser then Tybalt's death, that murdered me
  • Romeo and Juliet Act 3 by William Shakespeare
  • Act 3, Scene 3
  • Go, get thee to thy love, as was decreed Ascend her chamber.
  • Tybalt wanted to battle Romeo, but Romeo refused to fight. Instead, his best friend Mercutio fought Tybalt and was killed. Out of anger, Romeo killed Tybalt.
  • Act 3 Scene 4
  • Commend me to your daughter!
  • The nurse tells Juliet that Romeo killed Tybalt and will be banished. At first, Juliet is mad at Romeo, but then she is more upset that he is being banished. The nurse promises to bring him to her.
  • Act 3, Scene 5
  • Out, you green-sickness carrion! Out, you baggage! You tallow face!
  • Romeo finds out that he will be banished instead of killed, but he belived that death would be better then being away from Juliet. Romeo tries to kill himself, but the nurse tells him that Juliet needs him. He is allowed to spend one last night with Juliet!
  • Paris asked Capulet again if he can marry Juliet. Capulet agrees and says she will marry him in 3 days.
  • Romeo leaves Juliet's chamber at daybreak. Then Lady Capulet tells Juliet that she has to marry Paris. When she refuses, Capulet gets very mad and wants to disown her. The nurse even suggests that she should marry Paris over Romeo. She seeks Friar Laurence's advice.
