The story is about Smith Center, Kansas a powerhouse for football. The best senior class this scholl has ever had just left. The book talks about the struggles and challenges to go undefeated again and how much the team means to the town.
You should never underestimate people and what they can do and also never underestimate how much you mean to people and how much joy you can bring them
I would say motivated because when you read this as a football player you want to go on that winning streak that puts your town and school on the map and want to succeed as much as they do and mean that much to people in your town
Most Important Event
I would say informative because the whole book the author is just explaining what is going on and telling you how it goes and the facts and stories behind this team and town
The character I really liked was Coach Barta. He has been the head coach of this school for many years but he isn't mainly focused on football. He is static because he doesn't change but he gives a great feeling to the kids. He prepares them more for the real world and college.
I think the most important event of the book is the meeting of the seniors before the season starts. They meet and talk about how important this season is and the hype they have to live up and tell each other they are going to do it together. This sets the whole mindset and work ethic for the whole senior class to keep the winning streak alive
