  • A point refers to a single point in space.
  • A line is straight and never ending.
  • A line segments is a line that is bound between two points.
  • A ray is a line with a single point that continues on forever in another direction.
  • An angle is formed in the area where two rays meet. And, the vertex is the point where they meet.
  • Congruent means the same size and shape.
  • Parallel are lines that do not meet, or touch at any point.
  • Perpendicular lines meet at a point and form a perfect ninety degree angle.
  • A bisector is a line that divides something into equal parts.
  • Oh, no! I forgot to write down distance formula and midpoint formula!
  • The midpoint formula finds the middle point of a line. It is (x1+x2)/2, and (y1+y2)/2
  • The distance formula finds the distance between two points. And is the square root of (x2-x1)^1+(y2-y1)^2.
