  • The U.S.
  • The Treaty of Versailles caused Germany to become angry with the alliance because they were forced to pay reparations and limit their army.
  • Hitlers actions with the Holocaust and his aggressive habits made more countries get involved. He became a dictator which threatened other countries and scared people to follow his leadership.
  • Sudetenland and Rhineland
  • The League of Nations had no way of enforcing their peace keeping body and was primarily useless.
  • Countries wanted to do anything to avoid another war so they agreed on the Appeasement. Which meant giving into Hitlers actions to maintain peace.
  • Hitler also took land that he believed was rightfully Germany's. This caused retaliation among some countries.
