So essentially, the industrial revolution was based on mass improvements and the road to modernization. This was what led to companies manufacturing many products at one time in factories and the demand dropping in which in the case dropped the prices of the products massively.
Child labor was predominantly used due to the wages being very low and often the employers picked orphans and poor children as they were vulnerable and needed money.
