We must relocate the Native Americans in the East. We should move them to open land West of the Mississippi.
Did you hear? They passed the Indian Removal act. All Indians must move west.
I know! I can't believe the Cherokees are refusing. This will only end badly for them.
After the Cherokees went to the supreme court in hopes to repeal the act, it was indeed found unconsitutional.
I don't care what they say! These Indians must go whether they are civilized or not.
I have just been informed that a whopping 500 Cherokees have signed and agreed to sell all land by 1838. This will then prompt the remaining 16,500 non-signers to move
They have been resisting for too long. Send your troops and move them west, do whatever it takes.
That year they force ably took the remaining Cherokees West to the designated territory. On that terrible treacherous journey over 1/4 of the entire Cherokee population died.
