  • Prologue
  • My King. You know I would never lie to you. But your son will be the downfall this nation! You must be rid of him now!
  • Of course I understand my son. There is nothing to worry about. Come let us return what you have taken.
  • Scene One
  • What is it my boy?
  • Father! I- I-
  • I have done it again! I have committed another crime! I cannot help my self father you must understand
  • You cannot kill innocent people just because one of them threw a rock at you!
  • Scene 2
  • Yes I can! I can do anything I want! I am a KING!
  • If you do not like it then leave. He will be the king no matter what and there is nothing you can do to help it
  • A long time ago, near what is now known as Italy, was a nation ruled by a king. This king was known as King James IV. During his reign, he only produced one potential heir. Even as an infant, King James loved his child dearly. All was going well, until he was visited by an oracle.
  • Scene 3
  • And so it happened. The oracle was taken away and executed for insulting the king. But the king himself had unwittingly set these things in motion. Once his son got older, he started to commit petty crimes. He stole money and valuables for seemingly n reason. He was, after all, the son of a king. Every time he stole he would get away, but would burst into tears and run to his father and confess. King James loved his son and would always forgive him. The kings love of all things always was his weakness
  • Scene 4
  • As the years went passed, the king and queen got older and so did their son. Their son, Marius, would be promised the crown along with a bride with the coronation coming up. During the years, The Kings brother, Democles, came back to watch over the new, up-coming king. During a parade someone threw a rock at the Prince, and he ordered his guards to kill everyone in the street. This outraged Democles who then yelled at the prince
  • Epilogue
  • Shortly after the incident Democles went to see his brother. The King knew what had happened. When Democles told his about it he simply just set it aside like it never happened. This outraged Democles and hesitated to yell and soon they got into a fight. King James defended his sunlike he always had. Putting aside his sons crimes with his love for his son making him oblivious to all of his wrongdoings. After the argument, Democles left, never talking to his brother again.
  • You cannot simply just set aside this crime because you love your son! He's not fit to be king
  • King James went to his son and talked to him about the incident. He told him that he was in the right and that he is the ruler and he can do what ever he wants. Once his son heard this he lured a childhood bully into the woods and killed him. There was a witness and she told the guards. Once the son was done he retreated to the city.
  • Once he got back to the castle, he could not find his father. Not being able to lie with what he did, the prince killed himself with his sword. News reached the king, and he quickly went to the castle to find his son. Once he reaped his chambers he found him, but not the way he wanted to. Once he saw his son the dead, the king took his own life. The king inevitably destroyed his nation, just by keeping his son around.
