Storyboard Text

  • Demeter had a daughter named Persephone. She was a beautiful and charming girl. Demeter loved her and loved to spend time with her.
  • Hades goes to Zeus about his plan to steal Persephone. Zeus is on board with his plan and thinks it's a good idea to pursue his plan.
  • Hades sneaks up on Persephone and takes her to the underworld. 
  • Persephone cried until she couldn't cry anymore she wouldn't eat or drink. Hadese was worried about her and then went down there one day to chambers where he was keeping her. He asked her to please eat because he didn't want her to get sick.
  • Demeter goes to Zeus about Hades stealing her daughter and Zeus tells her he knew. That he would send his messenger Hermes to go get her or make a deal with Hades. 
  • In the underworld if you eat something you cant go back to the overworld. Hades gets her to eat and Hermes thinks he's too late. But Persephone only eats six seeds. So she will stay with Hades six months and six months with her mother Demeter.
