• Once there was a eagle and he need to eat and he saw a fish and wanted to know what angle to dive at the fish. The eagle knew  he was 10 ft up in the tree and was  the fish was 4 ft from the tree.  The eagle wanted to know the angle at which he was looking at the fish.

• The eagle used the inverse of tangent to calculate the angle at which the he was looking at the fish. the angle that the eagle was looking at the fish was 68 degrees
• 68
• tan= 10/4 = 68

• The eagle then flew to a new perch to get a snack be for dinner. He then saw a little fish and decided that it would be his snack. The eagle was 12 ft up in the tree and was looking down on the fish at a 70 degree angle. The eagle need to know how far away the fish was.

• 70
• The eagle then used the sine formula to figure out the distance between him and the fish. The fish was exactly 35.1 ft away.
• sin70 = 12/x x=12/sin70 x==35.1
•      2    2   2 12 + 5 =c 144+25 =169 {169}=13
• The eagle then saw a snake and decided that it was his dinner.  He perched in the tree and was 12 feet up and the snake was 5 feet away from the tree. The eagle then used the pythagorean theorem to find the distance between the snake and him. He then calculated that the snake was  13 feet.
