  • "Tell me, my daughter's, Which of you shall we say doth love us most?" - pg.14
  • ..."Dearer than eyesight, space, and liberty; Beyond what can be valued, rich or rare" 14
  • "Then poor Cordelia! And yet not so: since, I am sure< my love's  More richer than my tongue" pg. 15
  • "Of the self mettle that my sister is, And prize me her worth.  In my true heart i find she names my very deed of love"... pg. 15
  • King Lear wants his daughters to tell how him much they love him.
  • "Rumble thy bellyful! Spit, fire! spout, rain! Nor rain, wind, thunder, fire, are my daughters:   I tax not you elements, with unkindness"... pg.59
  • Goneril saying that she loves her father more than eye sight it's self and eye sight is very important.
  • ..."But I'll go in. [To the Fool] In, boy; go first. You houseless poverty, Nay, get thee in. I'll pray, and then I'll sleep." pg. 62,63 
  • Cordelia says that she only loves her father as much as he loved her. Regan goes of what Cordelia says but adds that she her sister says that her love for her father is very deed of love.
  • "Come not in here, nuncle, here's a spirit.  Help me, help me!" pg. 63
  • King Lear is losing his mind and is telling the storm to rain and lighting harder than ever so it can wash out England.
  • King Lear starting to realise that the Fool as very cold from beeing out in the storm 
  • This when the Fool goes into the little hut and finds Poor Tom but thinks he is a spirit and starts calling for help.
