AF Chapter 2
By xenod, Updated
If this happens after I die, then I don't care.
Will I be allowed to keep wearing ribbons in my mane?
Without Master Jones we'd starve to death!
If the rebellion will happen anyways, why should we work for it?
Proving his prediction correct, Old Major peacefully passes away in his sleep three nights after his speech.
Though unknowing on when it will happen, the pigs begin preparing for the Rebellion in the following months by teaching and organizing the others. Outstanding among them are Napoleon and Snowball, who have contrasting personalities.
Old Major's teachings were eventually elaborated into what was called Animalism. Animals on the farm were slow to adapt to Animalism, some unwilling to work or change some aspects of their life, and others used to treating Jones as their master.
After being unfed for a day, the animals on the farm rebelled against the farmhands, and easily chased out Jones and his men. They had taken control of Manor Farm.
