First in social studies, we learned about the first humans on Earth. They were the Neanderthals, and they weren't too smart. Then, the Homo Sapiens evolved from the Neanderthals, and they were actually smart, using complex language and tools.
Next, we learned about the Egyptians, who had constructed massive monuments, such as the Pyramids of Giza. And then the Romans and Greeks, who fought many battles. It was soon followed by the Middle Ages, with its hard times.
Then, we learned about the Renaissance, full of regal things, and the Age of Exploration, a time for adventure and sea exploration.
