  • I wonder who this Brian kid is that I am flying?
  • A New Beginning Title: Hatchet Author: Gary Paulsen Seth Exelby 1st hour
  • The pilot is going to go to the subway to meet Brian while Brian's pov is waiting for the pilot to come so he can be flown to see his dad in Canada.
  • Brian are you getting scared?
  • I am a little scared pilot.
  • Here the pilot is asking Brian a question so the pilot can know Brian better. They are riding the subway to get to their private plane. Brian's pov is that Brian is being shy.
  • This may take a while.
  • I sure hope not.
  • From the books interpretation of the flight it might take a while and Brian's pov is that he is being impatient. They are walking up into the cockpit.
  • I think I am having a heart attack!
  • You can't have a heart attack, I am not a doctor!
  • The pilot is having a heart attack while Brian stands there in dismay. Brain is wondering how he is going to get out of this situation. This different than in Brian's pov where we don't know what happened.
  • Pilot, what am I suppose to do? How do I fly this plane? I can't do this alone.
  • Call for help Brian.
  • In this scene,the pilot is almost dead so Brian has to fly the plane in order to survive. In Brian's pov he is petrified and asks the pilot for help.
  • I can't believe I just landed this plane in a lake! Now, how do I get out of here?
  • Brian just got out of the wreckage and is wondering how he is going to survive. While the pilot is dead. Brian's POV is that he is stranded.
