It's too crowded. People dress funny; they talk too fast; and all they're interested in is things! Cellphones and iPods and Game Boys and Starbucks...
But I was fooling myself thinking that you were still so young that you wouldn't have to learn about the world outside ours. It's not a nice place, and I didn't want you tossed into it without a little more preparation.
Chapter 5: C Average Middle School Has Found A New Victim
Just a reminder- the election for eighth grade president will be held on Tuesday, September twenty-sixth. The position is open to all to all eighth graders. So far, only one name has been placed in nomination-Capricorn Anderson. Thank you.
Chapter 6: He's Normal, Like Us
Who would do this to me?
The title "'I Should Have Prepared You", briefly summarizes all of chapter 4. Throughout the chapter Cap experiences his first fight between two kids in the hallway, and as he tries to inform the teacher Cap uses improper names for the students and the teacher began to think of as a disrespectful student. After school, Cap goes to visit Rain in the hospital and he advises her about his day. Rain then realizes that she should have told him about what life outside of Garland would be like and she should have prepared him ahead of time.
The title Claverage Has Found It's New Target, summarizes Chapter 5 because the whole chapter focuses on Cap getting nominated for the eighth-grade president
The title He's Normal Like Us really summarizes most of chapter 6 mainly because the chapter was told from Naomi's perspective. The chapter was mostly about Naomi finding ways to gain Zach's affection. She goes way too far when Cap finds a dead bird in his locker. The worst part about this is that Cap loves nature so he had a pretty strong reaction.
